Commissioning Operators Major Oil Operator Contract
Our client a market leading Oil and Gas Operator with a strong presence in the Albertan Oil Sands sector, are currently recruiting multiple Commissioning Operators to join their successful organization. This role will be a rotational position offering 7 days on and 7 days off working pattern and accommodation provided by the company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide recommendations and improvement initiatives to reduce operating expenses.
* Participate in safety initiatives and safe work practices.
* Perform testing, sampling, and well optimization with technical support from the corporate Asset group.
* Generate work procedures and train junior Operators.
* Issue work permits and supervise activities.
* Ensuring safe and cost effective operations.
* Lead troubleshooting and problem solving efforts.
* Provide input and supervision for scheduled turnarounds, operate and maintain production pads and field production facilities.
* Assist with the start up and commissioning
Required Qualifications:
* Minimum 4th Class steam ticket
* Minimum 2 Years relevant commissioning experience (hydrocarbon facility)
* Specific project involvement
* Ability to assume duties listed in commissioning operator R&R with minimal direction
* Must be able to supply FRC Coveralls, CSA Class 1 safety footwear, CSA prescription safety glasses (if required), 3 point fall arrest harness and personal four head H2S monitors
