Job Description
• Responsible for the development and implementation of the Corrosion Control & Corrosion Monitoring programs for operation facilities and pipelines.
• Development and implementation of pipeline integrity management systems and plans, as well as maintaining and executing accurate pipeline corrosion monitoring schedules, records and reporting.
• Develop database for corrosion monitoring results with relevant KPI’s.
• Ensure cathodic protection system efficiency through regular checks and follow up of surveys done by a third party.
• Responsible for preparation and follow up of Intelligent Pigging.
• Determine areas of corrosion threat and set up of corrosion control measures accordingly.
• Develop Corrosion Failure Analysis reports for failed equipment.
• Prepare CFT for corrosion inhibitor and biocide and follow up the processing till final selection of products and implementation on site.
• Responsible for ordering and stock management of corrosion monitoring equipment.
• Supervise and assist a local team in corrosion monitoring activities.
• Perform cost analysis and propose solutions to reduce costs.
• Issue weekly and monthly reports with corrosion annual report.

Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor of Engineering or Science (preferably chemistry) with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in corrosion control and monitoring activities in Oil & Gas fields.
Master degree in Corrosion Control would be a plus.
NACE certified Corrosion Technologist.
Sound knowledge of International Codes and Standards relevant to corrosion and chemical treatment, mainly NACE, API & ASME.
Good level of written and spoken English.
